The EC Journal's Citations
The EC Journal mandates that all analytical pieces contain sources for all statistics and information used in order to assure accurate and sound information is used in our articles.
We use our own variation of MLA format citation. After each statistic used, we type out a number which then corresponds to a citation in the bottom of the articles where the source is cited in MLA format.
The EC Journal is part of The EC Group, which is a non-profit based in California. Because we're a part of a non-profit, we can focus our efforts on providing insightful articles without having to focus on clicks, rather than content, as we do not use any ads on our website.
The EC Journal started out as an independent publication in 2015 as The ECSB Journal, being more local to Santa Barbara, California. Despite its local status, it produced global analytical articles in the same style The EC Journal does today.
In 2016, The ECSB Journal became The EC Journal as it joined the non-profit called The EC Group, Inc.
When The EC Journal started out, we were exclusively producing content regarding economics. As time went on and The EC Journal grew, expanding to include political science and business only came naturally. Now, The EC Journal produces content for a multitude of topics, but remain more loyal to economics, political science, and business.
